Paris, March 17, 2026 – Memority, a French provider of a SaaS Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, announces the acquisition of Zygon, a U.S. company specializing in the detection of unmanaged applications and the analysis of digital identity usage. This operation strengthens Memority’s Identity Visibility capabilities and opens new opportunities for the use of AI in identity governance and access protection.
Addressing new identity visibility challenges
The rapid growth of SaaS applications as well as human and non-human identities makes access control increasingly complex for organizations. A growing share of applications and access paths remains outside traditional IAM processes, creating blind spots in identity governance.
The technology developed by Zygon notably enables organizations to:
• identify applications used outside official application inventories
• detect accounts or access not integrated into traditional IAM processes
• analyze real usage patterns associated with digital identities
These capabilities will enrich Memority’s Identity Factory platform by extending identity governance beyond systems already integrated into IAM processes.
Accelerating Memority’s product roadmap
This acquisition is part of the technological vision presented during the company’s annual event, Memority Day, held on February 17.
It helps strengthen cross-platform identity visibility and usage analytics capabilities, while further integrating Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Access Management, particularly for new types of identities.
The integration of Zygon’s technologies will also accelerate coverage of the entire information system and provide a more complete view of real identity usage across the organization.
This marks Memority’s first external growth operation since its 2025 funding round.
An AI approach applied to identity data
Zygon’s technological components will be integrated into Memority’s AI developments to enhance identity analysis and governance capabilities.
The objective is notably to improve:
• visibility of all identities interacting with the information system
• prioritization of identity-related risks
• contextualization of alerts and remediation actions
• automation of certain controls
“This acquisition is part of the trajectory we initiated following our funding round in 2025. Our ambition is clear: to build a leading European IAM player capable of offering a robust and industrial alternative to major international platforms. Zygon’s team and technology strengthen our ability to execute this strategy. We are delighted to welcome the Zygon team into our company.”, Gilles Castéran, CEO of Memority
“Consistent with our strategy, the combination of Memority and Zygon strengthens our Identity Factory model by unifying identity governance, access management, and visibility into real usage patterns. It allows us to accelerate the promise of more intelligent identity management, supporting user experience, security, and business performance.”, Francis Grégoire, Deputy CEO of Memority
“We are joining Memority because we share the same vision of how identity governance must evolve. Organizations need concrete control over SaaS applications and access paths that traditional approaches do not fully cover. Together, we will bring greater visibility and control to these environments.”, Thomas Lejars, CEO of Zygon
